Inside the lid of the Essential Oil Extractor is a round coffee filter with holes screwed to the extractor. The extractor should be held face down over a heat-resistant, non-stick tray made of glass or silicone, and the butane gas cylinder fixed to the hole at the top and emptied completely. Gas and extracted liquid collect in the tray. The butane gas must evaporate within 24 hours. The selected herbs must be completely dry and filled loosely into the extractor before extraction.
