Taragüi Yerba Mate tea is a traditional, smoke-dried mate tea with a medium powder content. Due to its elaborada type, it contains up to 35% stems, so we definitely recommend using a bombilla and a linen bag for drinking. Yerba mate is considered a tea that increases both physical and mental freshness. It should be stored in a dry, cool place, in a closed storage container.
Main characteristics
type: elaborada (up to 35% stems) taste: traditional, stronger brand: Taragüi net weight: 500 g country of origin: Argentina Preparation The simplest way to prepare it is as a plain tea. The most important thing is that the water used for mate tea should not be hotter than 80 °C. You should not pour boiling water over yerba mate, because it will lose its positive properties and its taste will deteriorate.
About the manufacturer Taragüi has been grown, harvested and processed at the Establecimiento de Las Marías since 1924. (The word Taragüi, translated from the Guarani language, means Corrientes, or streams, in Spanish, which pays homage to the town where it is produced.) Taragüi produces many varieties of yerba mate: with stems (Taragüi con Palo), without stems (Taragüi Despalada), with orange flavor (Taragüi Naranja de Oriente), with citrus (Taragüi Cítricos del Litoral), with passion fruit (Taragüi Maracuyá Tropical), with less dust (Taragüi Liviana), with filter (Taragüi Mate cocido).
