Usage
The meters are usually calibrated by the manufacturers at the factory, but the factory setting can change over time. Therefore, the instrument must be calibrated before measurements. To do this, a calibration solution must be used. To begin with, it is worth rinsing the instrument's electrode with salt-free RO water. After that, the EC value of the liquid can be measured, so the accuracy of the instrument will be visible. If the deviation value is greater than the accuracy of the instrument, calibration is necessary. After calibration, the instrument will measure more accurately, a deviation of 1-2% is acceptable. This solution can also be used for TDS meters.
