Lumatek UV LED is an effective tool for growers who want to create a unique crop, influencing its taste and aroma and increasing the main extractable material by up to 30%. With gentle doses of UV-B and reducing the need for chemical interventions, it also helps control mold formation under the influence of UV-A. A single lamp provides 2.2 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-B energy and 518 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-A emissions. This means a 100 mW UV-B and 12000 mW UVA lamp. To avoid biological effects in the physical human body, please turn off the power supply when installing and/or maintaining the grow system. If turning off UV bands is not possible, all exposed skin should be covered with an opaque material, including the face, neck, head, hands, and injuries. The rest of the body can be assumed to be covered if you are wearing a suitable lab coat. For example, long pants, closed-toed shoes, gloves, long-sleeved lab coat and safety glasses. Do not look directly into the light, as UVB radiation from the fixture can damage the eyes and skin. Do not restrict airflow to the fixtures to avoid overheating, which can drastically reduce the life of the UV accessory LED strips. When switched on, do not touch the UV supplemental LED strip with any surface. Can only be used on plants.
